Connecting the Dots: From Healthcare Challenges to Societal Solutions Session 3(of 3)

Session 3(of 3): Identifying Where Change Matters Most

What's this series about?
Launched in response to an HRC community poll, this three-part workshop series explores how healthcare's challenges are deeply tied to broader societal issues and what we can do about them.  After learning new tools and identifying root causes, we now turn our attention to action.

Why attend
You've explored the tools and uncovered root causes, now what?  This final session helps you translate insights into action.  You'll identify the areas where focused efforts can create the biggest ripple effects and walk away with new ideas and renewed energy for change.

Who should attend
Anyone committed to creating a lasting impact in healthcare, especially those ready to challenge assumptions, explore patterns, and reframe problems from the inside out.

What to expect

  • Interactive exercises to pinpoint leverage points

  • Group dialogue to shape actionable next steps

  • Collective reflection and insight-sharing

Missed earlier sessions?  No worries, recordings and summaries are available so you can catch up at your own pace.  Each session adds value on its own; however, we recommend attending the entire series if possible.

Special thanks to HRC member Brent Renkema for stepping forward to co-lead this work!  Brent brings deep experience in design thinking, lean manufacturing, and creative collaboration.  He's passionate about using iterative problem-solving to address complex healthcare challenges, and we're thrilled to learn from him.
